Courthouse location:

3rd Avenue, Seattle, WA 98104, in downtown Seattle/Pioneer Square.
The courthouse is under construction (earthquake retrofitting), so
it is recognizable by the wooden sidewalk dominating the facade.
Courtroom: 942 East (Ninth Floor)
Normal trial hours: M-Th 9am –
4pm with an hour-and-a-half lunch starting at noon.
Coat rack: yes
Transportation: Lots of pay parking
around ($8 a day) or take the bus (drops you off right in front).
You can also take your chances and try for metered parking- but
the meter maids are vigilant, so watch out!
Seating: Courtroom is very large.
There's plenty of room!
Etiquette: You can come and go as you
please, but to remain courteous and respectful of the trial, DO
NOT disrupt proceedings in your comings and goings. Turn off cell phones. Bottled water or soda is okay, but
eating is frowned upon.
Breaks: A morning break and an
afternoon break, both 15-minutes. There is also a generous
lunch break, generally from noon to 1:30.
Restrooms: Restrooms are located on
same floor. The
women’s is located out the door and to the right, the men’s to
the left.
Beverages: Drink machine on first
floor. $1.25 for different drinks, coke, water, etc.
Food: Lots of places to eat around the
courthouse (click to see).
